I finally finished a background I could live with for Lydia's challenge. There are still several fails hanging around, along w/ some major fails for KelliJo's challenge. (Still working on that one.) You can get all the details on the DTGD18 Challenges here: Dare to Get Dirty Forum ..but you'll need to be a Fan Club member.
So when I saw the F4 challenge was birds, I colored this digi image & added it along w/ a greeting stamped on a chat bubble die cut. Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups, the inside & Copic colors: The Write Stuff

Love everything about this; particularly studied your handling of the cocktail and the "wet" elements - very impressive to me. Congrats on conquering the challenges, and a super fun card!

First, I really like how you have photographed this card with the reflection showing, SO neat! Plus I like the assorted gleaming stones. I know so little about photography and I appreciate learning tidbits on how to take better photos of my cards. Thanks so much!
When I saw your card, I smiled it's so cute and whimsical, and when I first saw it, the background on the LHS looks like an abstract world map. I liked the idea of stopping by anywhere in the world just to see a dear friend. I love the combination of the blues and greens, two favorite colors, especially when combined. I love how you colored the focal image, so bright and positive and fun! Imagine popping on on a friend to encourage him or her--that's exactly what this card will do when it arrives--bring joy and uplift a treasured friend. This has to go into my favorites, I love it so!
Blessings to you and sending my best wishes with my thanks for all I learned seeing this cool, whimsical, cheery card--whoever receives it will be blessed indeed!!!
