My idea for this card was to use my castle image which is stamped on acetate and then layer it over a field of lavender. So I applied various DO inks, spritzed with water and let the layers dry in-between applications. I framed it using a plaid paper and added a thistle in the lower corner. I got the image from Google images. One of my favorite films is Braveheart so this is a salute to Scotland and Braveheart...in my family we have a bit of a joke..when something is great we say it the Scottish way...grrrrr-ate. TFL!

Wow -I didn't know you could use DOX like that on acetate. This I must try! Thanks, Polly . It's quite amazing looking. And I love your little thistle - it almost looks like a cameo brooch.

Wow Polly!! I love all the silver foil tones on this card, the plaid and the colors are just so pretty! I love that oval with the flower on it, that is so precious!!

Polly, your creativity never ceases to amaze me! I am so impressed with how you did this wonderful castle image, then framed it out in this wonderful plaid no less! Wow! I love this little flower image you added and the fancy silver corners give this card that vintage postcard feel that I love so much! Man, you took this challenge and ran with it! ~Karen.
