I took several pictures of a bee and grape hyacinths on May 9th and love this one as its hovering over the flower.
I printed the photo and cut it down to 3x3 1/2" and matted it in brown.
Using the debossed side of my folder( the middle of the honeycomb is raised), I used Versamark ink directly onto the folder and ran it through my big kick machine. Added gold EP and heat set. Even though I didn't get entirely even coverage of the gold EP, I really like the organic looking results.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white and snipped off the first word.
I diecut the word Love and used the negative piece and put gold glitter paper under it, offsetting it for a shadowing effect. I diecut the ampersand from the same sizzix set, this time using the actual diecut &.
Popped up the sending warm fuzzies pieces for added dimension.

Really a wonderful Photo and the rest of the carad is just as impressive. I love how you colored and faded out the inking of the Embossing folder. Not quite sure how you did that but it looks wonderful. The bee DP is just perfect for this photo and card design! Into my favs.

OMGosh...I missed this in the gallery. What a fabulous card you've created with your wonderful photo shot of the hyacinths and the bee hovering waiting to lite for his nectar. As others have said, your vintage treatment of the negative EF is fabulous...a slight error creates a happy crafter! Your mini bee paper is the perfect backdrop to frame honeycomb and photo, adding but not overwhelming or taking away from the main focal point! LOVE it!
