I liked the stamped background of the first card and kept that except that I did a white embossed stamped image on white cs for shine and texture. I love the sparkly Fifth Avenue Floral rose on the second card and that was just the inspiration I needed to pull it out and stamp with it.
I stamped the rose and the leaves (which are from Wild Rose, an old SU stamp set), on watercolor paper, heat embossed them, and then took distress ink direct to the paper. Once inked, I sprayed with water heavily laced with Perfect Pearls for some shimmer. Jennifer McGuire just recently released a video using this technique: https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...-giveaway.html
While it dried, I stamped the white panel with a Script background stamp - this is the first time it has seen ink. And I heat embossed it for some white shine and texture.
After fussy cutting the flower and leaves, I popped them up with dimensionals, heat embossed the sentiment and punched it out with the Word Window punch.
MMTPT512: I find flowers to be comforting and hope this card is comforting.
Thank you for looking.

What a beautiful technique, and your choice of colors for your rose are gorgeous! That perfect pearl spritzing does a GREAT job! Love your script embossed background...bet it really stands out in RIL!

I so love the shimmer and shine on that gorgeous rose, and the white embossed script background is nicely subtle. Beautiful tribute to Wanda as FS and an equally nice card for the Clendenning family.

OH This one is SO pretty too. I am so sorry you had to make a sympathy card. It WILL be a huge comfort. It is beautiful and filled with care. I like the 2 colors you did the roses with, gong to have to get that stamp out and remake one....TFS....:0)
