We're stripping today thanks to Cathy's challenge. Yes, I have loads of strips sitting in a box waiting to be used. No, of course I didn't use those. I needed a gray and pink Minnie Mouse baby shower card. So I had to go looking for gray and pink papers. This is my first time trying the herringbone technique. You know I love trying new techniques and this certainly was a fun one! I love the cool background for my mouse ears.

This is darling! The herringbone background looks fabulous! I know what you mean about having to find just the right color strips which may or may not be in the box!

What an adorable card this is Jennifer! I have always loved Minnie Mouse and this is so creative and fun! You warmed my heart through and through when you wrote you did not use strips of paper from your stash (with good reason of course!). I have a huge stash of strips that should be used and rarely, if ever are, sadly! I am very impressed with your herringbone bg! ~Karen.
