This week Robin gave us some lovely colors and a dessert of die cuts. I love the background die in the Eclectic Layers die set from SU! It is why I bought the bundle. This card would have been easier if I had actually not spent and hour plus trying to find it! I knew where the set was (I had put that away after moving home two weeks ago) and I knew that I had brought the die home since I had seen it and lamented to myself that I needed to get it put into it's proper place. But things were still chaos in my stamp room at that point and it did not get put away, thus the long search for it. I had just decided that I needed a plan B for this card when I looked in one more box of new items from the summer and there it was right at the top! This card idea is based on a card I saw on Pinterest. I cut the background die piece and then stamped the flowers in Rich Razzleberry ink. I sponged on some more Rich Razzleberry ink and then used a blender pen to add some NON ink to the bottom of the flower. I stamped some leaves and die cut everything. Then I played with the size and shape of the greeting until I found one I liked. Have fun with the colors today!
