For Karen's lovely colors today, I decided to finally make one of these pinwheel style cards that I've been wanting to try. I'm still pretty new to this craft, so a lot of the old techniques and styles that are old news to most of you are still pretty magical to me
I didn't have the right colors in DP, so I made my own. First I made some plaid, because I love to. And then I grabbed the remnants of the coloring book page that I used for last week's color/sketch challenge and colored it up with these colors. I love how the two patterns look together. This was really fun to make and I opted for no sentiment, so I can make this card into anything I want later.

What a soft set of colors (great with the contrasting black) that you've used to create your "pinwheet" flower! Love your layering and color chosen for this as well!
