Carla, you know me so well. LOL. I actually only could find this card to rescue this morning, because I can't have ugly cards hanging around--I have to fix them. So this is a card that didn't even make it to getting uploaded. It's from Falliday Fest last year when we did Shaving Cream Stenciling. I stenciled the card and then put it through my printer to print the sentiment--and ended up with an ink blotch, plus the spots of alcohol ink that I got over the edge of my stencil. I couldn't use this.
Thanks to Carla's fun "Rescue Me" challenge, I cut out the image and sentiment and popped it up over another shaving cream stenciled background that I had left over. I cut out a few of the hexagons and put the background in front of some bright green cardstock. I do get carried away with color sometimes--this was one of those times.
So glad for this challenge, because I'm very happy with my results. And I really can't wait to check out everyone else's rescue missions!

I love your attitude toward "runt" cards. I wish I was more proactive about rescuing mine instead of just throwing them into a pile. I love what you did with this one. Brilliant idea to doodle the frame around the sentiment and then cut it out along with the stenciled image. And how awesome that you had the perfect hexagon background. I just adore how it all ties together, even the green and purple colors that pick up on the hints of those colors in the shaving cream. Awesome card - going right into my favorites.
