This is my card for today's Alphabet Challenge for the letter A (for angled front). This may (or may not) qualify for the double challenge to have black and white stripes). I rather winged it making this card because I have never cut a front away before. I cut the layers first, then placed the top layer in my paper trimmer, found an angle I liked and cut it. Then I took the larger piece and put that in the trimmer and lined it up with the grid lines and cut off 1.5" at the same angle. Then I marked on the 2nd layer what my opening was going to be and used that as a guide to stamp my flowers. I stamped an extra flower and leaf on scrap paper and I fussy cut them out. I tried adding glitter to the image with a 2-way glue pen, but it turned the red flowers brown. I was disappointed, because then I had to start over again. Alas, I like the red blooms plain. Added a narrow strip of black cs to the angled card fronts to highlight the angle a little more. The top panel is mounted on foam tape for some added dimension. This was super fun to do so I made several of these cards. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

This is so lovely...and charming, delightful and a just plain great way to say "Happy Birthday", Bev. The strong diagonal gives an energy and your patterned flowers are wonderful. The black edging adds the "snap".

Karen, this is a spectacular creation. I love the design of your card and the beautiful flowers. Wow! How great to have several of these on hand. The recipients will adore them, for sure.
