Barbara is our hostess this week and she has chosen: berry burst, so saffron, pear pizazz, and for dessert: flowers! I used zig watercolor markers in corresponding colors (as close as I could get). This also works for Jeanne's DTGD challenge.
On a piece of watercolor cs I white embossed the flower stamp. Then I watercolored with my zig clean color markers, using a light gray as my neutral for the bg. Splattered diluted white acrylic paint and also the pink and black ink. The white barely shows, but softened the bg. Stamped the sentiment, matted in black and adhered to card front. Added sequins for that something extra.

Lovely card, Maura. The Zig watercolor marker give such bright clear colors and they worked so well with this watercolor resist technique. Like the soft gray that you surrounded your floral bouquet with.

Another WOW Maura ... beautiful. This is such a pretty stamp as well, I bet it was fun to colour. I love having new stamps to colour ... it is a terrible thing that I am not filthy rich!
