I had more fun with watercoloring, but I white embossed the image. This is a flower by Altenew, and I used one of the Scriptures from a set that I won from Stamp Simply that I love. I used ColorBox INK Premium Dye Mini Inkpads to water color, doing a wash around the image. I die cut the image and matted it, and then I used my Mini MISTI to add the sentiment. I added some Nuvo drops, and that was it. Voila! Hope you have a beautiful week, and thanks for taking a closer look! Hugs!

Cheryl, this floral image just drew me in and when I took a closer look, I was even more impressed. Such lovely water coloring, and I especially love how you've embossed the image in white then painted it. I've done very little in coloring and I want to try water coloring, I've really only played a bit with coloring but have not spent enough time and I am realizing to be better at it, I will need to devote some time to it. You've really inspired me to put in that time... I thank you.
I love this verse in Philippians, what a great guide for how we need to live and conduct ourselves, much to consider! What a beautiful font and layout, wouldn't this work well on a bookmark! I need to check out those stamps!
I so appreciate your very kind comment on my hand-stitched card, Cheryl, especially from you as you are so versed in stitching and quilting, so having a comment from you on this card was extra-special to me, thank you!!!
I think you'd have a lot of fun playing with the Paper Smooches cross-stitch dies!!! I have only so far played with the first one, the rectangle, and that one comes with some faux x stitches and I think other faux stitches but I haven't used those. Because that first die was so popular, Paper Smooches recently brought out a circle and a square cross-stitch die, I'm especially keen to try the circle after watching Jennifer McGuire's latest stitching YouTube seeing her create some neat patterns. Apparently, the holes are larger on these newer dies and the holes are further apart, meaning that these stitched pieces will take less time to complete, which isn't an issue with me, as I found the rectangle pieces came together pretty quickly, and I enjoyed the process of stitching which was lovely!
I really hope to have the pleasure of meeting you sometime in person, for I know you'd be as lovely in person as you are here at SCS!
Thanking you again for your encouragement, Cheryl, you show God's love through your kind, uplifting comments, I hope you know how much I appreciate you and I am certain that I am one of many.
