The bg is PTI's wood grain impression plate, the CS, used on the reverse side and inked with white, reminds me of ripples on water. The fish die cut was watercolored, Perfect Pearls added with a brush, and then coated with a clear heat embossed finish.

Sallie, what a beautifully elegant card! I love this fish and how you've made the woodgrain appear just like water. Dear friends of ours have a koi pond, and they are beautiful as they glisten in the water. Stunning! Hugs!

Your koi is fantastic. It can't get much more realistic. I would have sworn it was a printout. Thanks for explaining how you created that perfect finish.
