I had been wanting to make a red-hatter bird card for Brenda's friend Alice who is the TPT destination this week. Today is my day off, and the challenge gods smiled in my favour with Shirley's choice of winged things for the F4A. I actually shaped the wing a little with a stylus, so it's slightly dimensional.
Stamped and masked the hat. Stamped the bird. Coloured with Polychromos pencils. Sponged in the grass, die-cut and edged the square with a black Sharpie and a fine black marker. Added Stickles to the flourishes on the hat.
The background was a Brusho disaster sitting in my box, but it had the purple I was looking for. I stamped the Wavy Lines on it with wilted violet, and then added the lacy borders. Finished it off with sequins.

Oh, Sabrina, this darling red-hat bird is sweeter than sweet! We've loved seeing some Red Hat luncheons here in South Florida, and it's been fun to see the gals with their outfits. This little lady would fit right in. I love how you've managed to rescue the background, and I love the border and sequins! Sweet card that will definitely cheer Brenda's friend! Hugs! xoxo
