I started off painting the background using 3 colors of acrylic paint. I applied two colors with a foam brush and went side to side both ways in an uneven manner. I then touched up some of the empty spots with gold paint to add highlights. I had an idea of where I was going to stamp the face so I added text from an old book and old sheet music using the text transfer technique. I then stamped the face and painted the lips and eyes. I added some washi tape and doodling around the edge and rimmed the outer edge in gold. My final step was to mix some pearl ex with glazing medium and lightly going over most of the piece to add some gold shimmer. Thanks for looking!
