Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen: pool party, island indigo, perfect plum and for dessert: make it golden.
Die cut, and then used 2 and 3 step stamping for my peacock, adding some gold pen for the little dots on the tail feathers, and following that up with some gold stickles. Sponged the card front with plum, die cut a “peek-a-boo hole” in a separate panel, and also some gold and indigo sparkly sprigs. Embossed the sentiment in gold on the main panel. Popped it up with dimensionals on top of my sponged card front, and arranged the peacock and the sprigs. Added more stickles to the peacock for good measure!

Absolutely STUNNING Maura! Your card caught my eye immediately. Love the way your peacock is nested on the cutout with just the few sparce branches peeking out. This one goes right to my fav's!

You chose the perfect Animal for these colors for sure!! Love your Peacock sitting in your cut-out and brilliant idea making the night sky cut-out. Beautiful card Maura!

I am so in love with so many of the new Hero Arts sets, especially this one and the koi. Beautifully done here, love the elegance and beauty of the peacock.
