It was a crazy day on Friday. A quick errand to town because DD forgot to tell me she needed a present for someone, a super quick walk in the cold, then some play time in my art room before making several back and forth trips to school as DD performed her second night in the high school holiday showcase!
Before I sat down to stamp I checked out the Friday challenges here at SCS. F4A354 has us playing with snow and the MIX201 challenge is anything goes.
For the MIX, I used TH Distress inks, for the background and stenciled pine branches. InkTense pencils were used to bring out more definition. I used a very light hand with an Elegant Writer pen for the branches. I also used acrylic paint for the snowy splatters and modeling paste for the snow clumps.
The "Christmas Blessings" greeting from The Project Bin's - Luke 2, finished off the project. I love this bold, curvy sentiment!

Angie, what a fabulous card you created yesterday. I really like those pine branches laden with snow. And, your glitter paper looks great for a Christmas card. Good photography setting, too. I know you are enjoying every minute spent with your daughter.

Angie this is fabulous. I love that you are still super duper creative after such a hectic day. I can't stay and chat, I'm supposed to be sending Favs notices. xx

Angie, this is GORGEOUS! I love the beautiful colors and the vibrant colors, and I also love the sentiment...great font! Sounds like you've had a busy time, but it was good for you to enjoy stamping! It's so good and really refreshes us, doesn't it? Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
