WT612 challenge: Hans Christian Anderson-Fairy Tales
My image doesn't look like a fairy tale image but my card was created for the tale, The Bird of Popular Song.
Earth was wearing a snowy garment until the birds came singing and lifting hearts and souls. A thrush and other birds were mentioned but I have this pretty cardinal I decided to use.
For the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for December, Stacy has chosen the theme-Animal Love--use creatures, critters, or fur balls.
I used masking fluid on my card, let dry, and sponged. After that, I stamped the trees at the bottom and then turned my tree stamp unside down and made three leaves at the top. I rubbed off the masking fluid which made a wintry snow. Added the bird and branch.

What a gorgeous card you have created here Brenda. I am not familiar with this particular story you made this card for so I am going to have to look this up because I am curious about it. This wonderful cardinal just pops against your beautifully sponged background. I love the trees you sponged around the outer edge of your card, and I love this shimmery tree branch too. The snow you created gives this card a truly magical fee. ~Karen.
