Hi all,
I was stumped at first!! I'm a pretty "unfancy" person and I don't shop so seeing the purses (and the prices) I almost couldn't think! Then I came upon this pair of shoes and thought, hey I think I can do something with that, they look a bit like western boots and spurs.
I stamped the Stampendous leather tooled design with silver on black, I tried white but I like the silver better. I have some old studs for garments (5 prong) that was just the right size for a decorative concho and the silver sticker nail heads (3 mm) were just right for my decorative studs. I have always loved this horse trio so I stamped it with VersaFine since I was not going to color it. The chain is a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I showed this to my hubby and he loved it so I hope you do too!
The card size is a bit different for me, 6" X 4 3/8"...it was going to be 7" but I trimmed off the bottom.
A few people ask if I really don't shop and the answer is I really don't clothes shop...I spend all my "miscellaneous" money on craft stuff!! LOL! Plus, we don't have ANY clothing stores in Oakhurst. Closest store is about 45-50 miles away down the hill in the city. I occasionally buy something on-line...reasonable! Not much of a big spender.
Thanks for looking!

Wow Robin! What an amazing card this is! This horse image is truly fantastic, and I love all the western elements you incorporated into this fabulous card. I love that you received inspiration for this card from a shoe! LOL. ~Karen.
