Emily is 14 and started by making a background using the bubble technique (add a little water, reinker and dish soap in a small dish and blow bubbles, then pass your card over the bubbles.) When doing this technique it took a lot more ink than you think but it's fun to keep adding crazy colors in there, even ones that don't blend and see what you get. She then die cut the ornament out of the tag. She cut a second one from Shimmer Sheetz. She inlaid some of the pieces and used Glitter Ritz in the center. She then colored that center with copics. She stamped the swirl and the sentiment and heat embossed in silver. She then added a few nail heads. She crinkled up some seam binding ribbon to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow! This is stunning Nancy! I am really impressed this beautiful tag was made by a 14-year-old. Emily is clearly incredibly talented and very detail oriented too. She must take after her grandmother! I love the beautiful serene colors she chose, the wonderful bubble background technique and this delicate ornament too. The other elements make for wonderful finishing touches on this lovely tag. The tag is a gift in and of itself! Hugs! ~Karen.
