This card is for today's color challenge. I played with my new Brusho crystals again today. And again, I have a badly stained left hand. For some of the background I sprinkled on the crystals and misted with water, but I mixed two shades together in a small container to try and get a color close to the Island Indigo and then dripped that onto the card. I also tried splattering a bit, but that didn't work so well. After the background was dry, I stamped the ferns with Garden Green ink that I spritzed with water before stamping. I added the greeting using my MISTI. I punched two butterflies, one from Daffodil Delight CS and the other from Island Indigo CS. I layered them and added sequins and some black pearl pen accents.

Ooh, Kathy, what a beautiful background you've created for the color challenge. This card would fit so well into the gallery for the Monday CAS challenge, Let the Background Talk, as yours surely does. I love what you achieved and the card is gorgeous!

This reminds me of a forest in the early morning light - specially with the ferns along the bottom. The background is very pretty and definitely worth the inky stained fingers - he he.
