I am loading this for today's challenge. I actually made this per request for someone's 70th birthday. I put on the finishing touches today. Even though I didn't start from scratch today, I thought it went well with today's challenge. I hope to do another card later.
I colored all the roses w/spectrum noir alcohol markers. I embossed the background and added liquid pearls. The purple flowers are actually the negative from a lattice die put together to make flowers. I brushed over the 70 with liquid pearls so it would have a little bit of shine too. I also added liquid pearls to the centers of them. The half pearls took a lot of time on this card. They were each hand applied to make the design. I enjoyed making this card sooooo much! I hope the birthday girl enjoys receiving it as much as I did making it!
Thanks for looking!

Wow, wow, wow! This card is total eye candy....I can see why you did it in stages, it has so many wonderful, complicated, fiddly elements that require lots of time to complete. Love the tiny pearls you have on the background (and everywhere else!), and those wee purple flowers....oh, my, so many wonderful elements that work together to make an amazing piece. Nicely done!
