Before starting this challenge I searched Pintrest for ways to use coffee grounds in art. I came across a wonderful technique for making textured paper demonstrated in a video by Carrie Burns Brown
I modified her technique....I first mixed coffee grounds and hot water to make a stain. I wanted it to look a bit more yellow so added a tea bag. I then placed a piece of tissue paper onto plain white paper and brushed on full strength gesso. This aealed the two sheets together for added strength and texture. I then brushed on the stain and included a few grounds. Dried it and done with my coffee and tea stained textured background paper!

Great way to make a stain, and I love that you left a few grounds on there too! The image is very vintage and I love it! You did a great job on the challenge!
