It's time for more flowers - surprise?! LOL! Yes, like many of you, I love flowers, and here's the newest Instant Garden digital release - Ranunculus. These are real beauties (but a challenge to spell/type - hehe!). I was delighted to see the amazing variety of colors - often seen in bouquets with roses. I colored this new image in bright pinks and decided on a simple layout. Since green is opposite pink/red on the color wheel, I found this striped DP worked matted on the sides. I cut down my image, paper pierced the sides only, wrapped some Perle cotton with a button, matted it, and adhered it on the card base - and it was done! How easy is that? I used only Copic markers, but I may color another one adding detail with some pencils. More details on my blog.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week - and take time to enjoy the flowers around you! Hugs!

Good Morning, Ms. Cheryl! I saw this in the faves so had to jump over and see for myself what all the hoopla is all about. No disappointed, I must say. Gorgeous, gorgeous and even more gorgeous! Your coloring is spectacular and let's face it, it's all about the coloring. You can bring a still image to life in such an unbelievable way. Kudos, girl

Beautifully made card! These were my grandmother's favorite flower. She referred to them as Persian Buttercups, which is the common name and definitely easier to pronounce and spell! They grow in a huge variety of colors and shapes. Thank you for inspiring those of us who are still new to card making!
