I took a quick peek at the gallery and was inspired by Laurene's card using Character Constructions stamps..so I got out one of several CC sets I have. My bg uses distress ink in the blue and yellow colors, then I added some stenciling with the mahogany-razzleberry color. The edge stencil was made using a scalloped border die. The butterfly girl's antennae are parts of a scalloped die (dessert!). This is also for a VSN challenge to use a bee.

Polly this is so creative and I love the sentiment. It instantly made me think of catching fireflies. It also reminded me of looking out my window the other night and the field behind my house just looked magical with all the little firefly lights. Just so you know, I am not crazy. I know your card has bees and butterflies, but it still makes me think of fire flies. ;) This is a terrific card!

This is such a cool collage card! I love all the different elements and they work so well together - very fun. I am just realizing that I did not answer your PM the other day!! Off to answer it now!

Polly, your work is so fun and so creative!! I just recently bought some alcohol inks so I may be examining your work closer. I am also interested in distressed inks. I have not been very adventurous. You are one of the leaders in that. :>)
