My good friend nicknamed her adorable, mischievous kitten Wreck it Ralph and it just tickled my funny bone. This image was originally sold on Squigglefly. I had no clue where to find it since they closed. I emailed Enid Barnes and within 15 minutes she replied and made it available on Etsy. The image was changed to brown and white in Photoshop Elements instead of black and white allowing me to use the warmer colors. He's colored with pencils. Thanks to Enid's beautiful artwork and shading, this one was a joy to color. The twine was wound in loops and tacked on with stitches. Thanks for stopping by.

You are a master with those colored pencils, Nancy. This little cutie looks so real... especially the eyes. The fur looks so soft. Your signature stitching is to dye for. The yarn is just adorable. It looks real enough for Dolly the insomniac dog to chase.

How fun that you tracked down Enid and I am so glad she is selling her images on Etsy - the world needs her images! This is one of my favorite ones and you have so brought the kitty to life. Love this card my friend. Hugz

Super ADORABLE! Fantastic idea to change the image to brown for the coloring - which is so perfect! The bit of twine is such a great accent and how clever to stitch it rather than glue.

WOW Nancy those eyes say it all.
I've said it before your colouring is beyond amazing and the little piece of twine reminds me of wool that the mischievous kitten has unravelled ....

Nancy, so glad you found a way to purchase this retired image. Your coloring leaves me speechless. I'm not a cat lover by any means; however, with a name like Ralph the Wrecker and your coloring, I'm leaning toward revisiting my posture on cats.

Nancy - you nailed this one! With a name like that and those eyes, I am sure he will be a little wrecker and then melt his owner to love her all the more! Your stitching is always amazing but then to think to stitch down the twine for the kitty to play with is a stoke of genius! Wonderful card! tfs
