This is a card for my friend Nina's birthday! It is also a REALLY REALLY late card made for Joan's "Down Under" challenge (TLC519). I was so inspired by the many creative ways people used this challenge that I got this idea in my head. No...this is not it. Somehow when I tried to execute THAT idea...it didn't work. Oh well...I improvised! The Swiss Dot embossed panel came about when I put the original panel down crooked and tried to move it and thoroughly messed up the panel....hmmmmm what to do? I know! Cover it up....The Make a Wish (Penny Black) changed colors so many time it has uh...5 layers! The last layer being an offset pink and green to match my flowers/leaves which are the smallest one from the IO small rolled flower set. The tiny tiny leaves are from my Punch Bunch punch. The swirly flourishes are Marianne Design. The EF behind the main panel is from Embossalicious. And of course the lattice work is Spellbinder. Oh and I used my Rounded Square dies to cut out that panel. (which I used my dimensionals under.) I also used the stickles on the roses and EACH individual Swiss Dot! I couldn't capture the twinkle in the photo...:-(
Thank you so much for coming by to take a peek!

They say 'good things come to those who wait' and we all got to see something GOOD with your late-to-the-party entry! :-) Way more than good. ...over the top excellent I should say! I say everything all the other posters said and then some. I am in awe of those tiny perfect flowers. The addition of the delicate shades of pink and green makes this card stupendous! TFS

Absolutely stunning. The white on white is so elegant. I love the sweet little roses and swirls. The layered sentiment is so pretty - 5 layers - wow. You put stickles on each swiss dot??!! That's what I call attention to detail. This is sure to be cherished by your friend.

Your cards are always so elegant and beautiful Peggy. This is so creative too. Love how you've split the layers to create a "down under" area. And the mix of embossing designs are so pretty together. The icing on the cake is the gorgeous flourish with tiny flowers --- sigh! xx

Goodness gracious, Peggy, this is BREATHTAKING!! All the wonderful embossed layers of white gorgeousness, with the dainty roses resting on the flourishes, and all in perfect harmony with the curve in your cardstock opening! Took a ton of patience to get this just the way you wanted it but I would love to see the look on Nina's face when she opens this - just magnificent! Into my favs!!
