This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 511 - Old Cake Whisperer, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 514 - The Ones Have It, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 305 - Welcome the New Year. As odd as it may seem including a sympathy card in on a Celebration challenge it is with joy that one of our Choir members is saying goodbye to her 100 year old Aunt who was so dear to her heart. To have lived an entire Century is a celebration in itself but to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father is truly a celebration.
I stamped the image then trimed around it so that the sentiment would be visible then stamped the sentiments all in old olive ink. I tied some ribbon in as close as possible to crumb cake color and was finished. I hope she will love this sympathy card created just for her.

Beautiful interpretation of all the challenges that you combined. Your border is lovely following the edge of the flowers. It's so wonderful to be able to celebrate the next phase of life where there are no tears! HAPPY NEW YEAR to you!

i really like this layout/design. I need to shake things up and do something other than traditional rectangle/squares. Really makes the card extra special
