Holly aka hbrown is asking us to use strips for her HYCCT1403 challenge.
It wasn't hard for me to find strips, I have a whole box full! I decided to fancy them up a bit by placing them in MFT "stitched strip" dies. For the flower, I added color to the white die cuts using the "wrinkle free distress" method.
Janeen and I made a memory today using facetime to stamp together! I mentioned to her that I wondered how designers worked the twine behind their images. Janeen, knew the answer and shared the tip! Thanks Janeen, it was a fun afternoon!

This is gorgeous!! I like the way you used a brown flourish under the green one, to look like a shadow. And stitched dies make everything better!! LOVE this card!!

Oh, Angie, this is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love sunflowers, and yours is amazing with the wonderful layers! And the strips for the background is fabulous! What a wonderful card that is really going to be loved by someone very special! Hugs, sweet friend!
