Fun TLC challenge and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to case my friend Karen for the CAS challenge. Karen's one of my very fave friends here and I wish I could do CAS like she does. She's the master!!
So for the CAS challenge, I picked THIS card of Karen's. I love the color combo and little tree line. I did add the colored embossing instead of the dp Karen used. After I embossed the flurries, I used a white marker to color the embossing. The stamped tree line was cut around and added on top.
I also added some curved sections similar to Karen's and embossed one w/ dots. A couple of cute little houses/bldgs were added just 'cause (they're new!)
Thanks so much for looking! I'll have it on my blog shortly: The Write Stuff

Oh my goodness, all that fussy cutting! It sure was worth it though, this is gorgeous! I love all the different layers of snowy drifts, and the soft icy blue. So pretty!

Wow - I love this Julie. Such great layers without being totally bulky and expensive to mail. What a super Christmas card - love it and into my faves. Hugz!

What I love about your cards is how versatile is your artistic style--you create so easily in so many areas, what a master card-maker!!! I LOVE how you've used that snowflakes EF in the sky, it works SO well, just an extraordinary card, Julie!!!
