HERE is what inspired me this morning, although I don't know how inspired I was. This simple card took two hours. I knew just what I wanted to do with the buttons, but then I was stumped. Needless to say, I'm not thrilled with the results, but it's the fifth try, and I'm done.
I spent the night dumping water that comes into our basement when we have rain, and soaking up a lot with towels (spin out, then dryer), and today I am really tired. Thanks a lot, Hurricane Arthur! Explains my card I guess.

Wow Anne, how can you not be happy with this card? It is stunning. The 3 red buttons are perfect with the image of cherries. I love the rich browns with the red and green. I am so sorry about your basement...if only you could send some of that water over here to "dry as a bone" california.

Anne what a beautiful card.. you are being too critical of yourself... love the beautiful image, the layout, the lace on the side and the placement of the buttons... oh yes, I must not forget all the lovely RED colour in there... so sorry about your basement....
