This is my card for this weekÂ’s CC483. Vicki is our hostess and she chose pool party, tempting turquoise and gumball green. Our dessert is flowers.
These colors said masculine to me when Vicki sent them out to the team. And, I needed a FatherÂ’s Day card for my hubby so thatÂ’s the route I took.
I also wanted to use this new “you mean the world to me” die that I received in my latest MFT order. I cut the world 3 times. Once in pool party, once in gumball green and then again in basic gray (my neutral this week).
Under the basic gray I added tempting turqoise and gumball green to highlight the words. I added a turquoise heart with my hubbyÂ’s name and some chevrons cut from a Stampin-Up die.
The bg dsp is from the SU “nautical expedition” collection.
This card is also for this month’s Fan Club central theme of “tool time”. One of my favorite card making tools is dies. Love using them.
And. also the Fan Club WordPlay challenge.
T = turquoise
O = orb
O = other half (made card for hubby)
L - land mass
Hope you can play along with us this week. You may be our next color challenge fave and have your card featured on our Pinterest board. See the board here.
