Mary (jandjccc) did this technique on this card. This is my go to technique for a soft and feminine card and I must have cased this at least a dozen times. The layer framing the image is lightly stamped with a script background stamp. Mom will be 87 in a couple of weeks so this is for her. It's rare for me to do a girlie card but I enjoyed doing this one. Thanks for stopping by.

So lovely, Nancy! Your stitching around that frame is such a great detail here. Yes, a super pretty card, but in this case it's just the thing!

WOW! This is so BEAUTIFUL! The EF, the pink and white and the stamped script - very pretty. But... the stitching and shadows stamping are AMAZING! You do girlie as well as you do everything - no surprise to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your MOM!

Happy Birthday to your Mom, Nancy. She is sure to love this "girlie" card in the soft pink. Love how you did your focal floral image. A lovely card for a VERY special lady.

You've really enhanced these flowers beautifully with your matting and stitching, Nancy! The shadowing technique looks gorgeous; adding the soft ribbon and pearls, plus that pretty script makes for one lovely feminine birthday card! Happy Birthday to your mom~

Oh my gosh, Nancy! First, I can't even use a sewing machine to sew a straight line let alone an oval, second the image is awesome and beautifully displayed, third, this is so softly feminine that I think you should do this more...girlie cards may be your "thing"! Beautiful card your mom will cherish!

This is so soft and beautiful. I love the gorgeous stitching and your mom will love this for sure. How very lucky you are to have your mom for 87 years. My mom died when I was 2 weeks old. Treasure every moment you have with her. This card is going straight into my fav's and I am so happy that you cased me. It's a honor.
