LOVE the colors from the today's CAS challenge and had to play along.
I used the watercolor spritz technique (it probably has a different name, but that's what I call it)
This is a 2-step stamp. I inked the solid stamp randomly with three shades of blue ink (used markers), spritzed with water and then stamped onto watercolor paper. Once dry, I did the same for the outline stamp, using only the darkest blue this time.
Fussy-cut the leaves and popped them up on a cork panel. Easy and fun. It's great that we can take creative license and make things whatever color we like ... am loving blue leaves

Totally agree with you on the creative license, Loll! From the thumbnail, I guessed you had perfected the silver metals and had gotten the blue that way. Cork panel great texture and color balance for the blue.

Love those shades of blue against the cork! Also love the picture of Cooper on your blog with your details about this card. He is SUCH a cutie! Your spritzing technique makes for one beautiful card!

After seeing your blue leaves and Grandma Overboard's, I just might have to try making me some blue leaves. This is lovely Loll.

Your water spritzing certainly gave these beautiful leaves the water color effect, Loll! Cards are not real life so we can give things whatever color we want! ~Well done
