Houston, we have a problem.......this tag won't dry. I have tried a heatgun, sunshine and a very quick zap in the microwave until i remembered the metal eyelet....nothing works.
This tag is for the mixed media challenge using printed pages. Underneath all the layers of ink, glimmer mist, gesso and molding paste are 3 entire pages from an old dictionary. They barely show up in the photo, but are quite visible in real life.
I scrapped gesso over several pages, layered them on top of each other, then after they dried I made die cut flowers with them. To add a bit of contrast colour I cut 3 very fine strips of green cardstock and attached them in one or two spots.
The black ink is just TH distress ink - black soot, but for some reason it has reacted to something and has remained tacky. I went over most of the inked stamp with an Aqualip pen. Hmm quite a mystery.
Thank you for looking

So pretty, Susie! Love your mixed media tag. Have to laugh at the Houston line. We lived in Houston for a long time and we still use this phrase frequently.
