I haven't done the IC is a very long time. While browsing the West Elm site I came across this pillow and knew I had to give it a try.....details....
I have recently learned that you can use your ink pads on the gelli plate with wonderful results. Plus you don't have to hurry like you do with acrylic paints.
So I pulled out my little square gelli pad, brayered it with sail boat blue ink, laid down strips of paper and pulled a print. Brayered on the denim, removed the first strips but added larger ones then pulled another print over the first one. Wal-la! Sort of looks like the pillow. Yay!
On white cs, I stamped the button several times. Cut them out, punched out the holes of the button, versa marked one of them and clear ep'd it. Then I
glued them altogether adding the ribbon and making a bow. Set aside.
Sponged the edges of my panel then paper pierce the edges and connected the holes with a pen to look like faux stitching.
Put this panel on a white card popping up the button. Done.
Nothing fancy going on here, but had fun making this card and to me that is what it is all about. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone.....TFL :0)

This is delightful! And I am tickled I know that video about using ink on the Gelli! Can't wait till my Gelli plate arrives...then I can start imagining in the Mutnik style!
Side note....had a blast at the P'town Blick store yesterday....though sad they were out of stock on the next side up plate.....
Fun...serious play is the name of the game!!!!!
