Tiffany's MIX55 Clear Love challenge is one I could make cards for all day - I love messing around with acetate and shrink plastic. What a shock to discover that I was down to my second-last sheet from a box of 100 photocopier acetate sheets! Yikes, they need replacing fast. And I lost a quarter sheet on my first attempt.
Base layer is wrinkle free distress with a map stamped over it.
For my clear layer - I stamped Linus with StazOn on the right side, so that the sentiment would come out correctly. On the reverse side I stamped the chicken wire with StazOn, and used a Q-tip dipped in alcohol to remove the wire round the sentiment. I embossed it, and brayered over the back with white acrylic, removing most of the paint around the top half, and making sure there was plenty of it left behind the sentiment, so it was easily legible. Stitched this to the base, and edged it all with a gold leafing pen. With more time I'd have found something else for Linus to stand on, but I just used part of a ric-rac diecut that was on my desk, stamping over it with script and dirtying it up a bit.
An extra Linus was stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and cut out.
I was hoping for a bigger question mark, but again time was my enemy so I used the MFT Typewriter alphabet, and popped it up on foam.

Another stunning card! I love all the texture and mix of colors on the background! This would qualify as magical in my book. Always love peanuts characters! I love the sentiment when thinking about art and the chat we have had this week. Sometimes there is a little fear involved with a challenge!
