Today Joan's TLC, Let's Don't & Say We Did, was clever! We were to make a faux layer. You know those red Christmas ribbons with the gold accents? Well, my sis in law gave me one she was going to throw away. I told her "I can use that!"
I'll be back later - hubby just came home to take me to lunch. Lunch was awesome!!
So, I sponged Broken China using that 'old' gold metalic ribbon. Then I used a fine Sharpie marker to mark my 'layers' & masked off to stamp the images. I stamped the sentiment using the stamp positioner to cover up some off the edge sponging. My dauber was leaving bits of dauber!
Thanks for your kind comments and for stopping by.

Clever card Karen and love the way you created your own stencil! Don't you hate when the sponges start to disintegrate just when they are all inky and working so smoothly? Love your design on this.
