I made this card for 3 different challenges. For the color challenge I didn't have the actual colors, (primrose petals, wild wasabi, and blushing bride) so I came as close as I could. The sketch may be altered a little, but only slightly. I think if my flower had been moved center and the label had been a circle it would be perfect match for the sketch. I actually had my flower too big and had to cut it down. The teapotters challenge was to make a sympathy card. Truly a sad, unfortunate story. If interested, I suggest you check it out. I enjoyed making this card other than the fact that it is for sympathy. Thank you for taking time to look!

Your flower is so pretty and I love the scripture. I did go over and read the story. It's so sad, I cried. I hope your card gives them comfort.

Geni I saw your comment to SusieAustralia and nearly PM'd you, but I know too well how quickly the days (and weeks!) pass despite our best intentions. Welcome to the Teapotters! Your card is just beautiful!! I love that you used the other challenges to inspire it (I needed 3 sources of inspiration for my card too!). Your beautiful flower really reflects those on the Teapot, and your uniquely appropriate scripture is a wonderful part of what you shared with the Schoberls. Thank you so much for coming to Lisa and John's Teaparty. Make sure to grab some angel cookies - you surely will be an angel to them. Hugz from New Jersey.
