I needed a card for our children's director at church and I wanted to use this stamp because they performed A Charlie Brown C'mas this year ~ it was wonderful! Does anyone else feel less than when they watch that? Because I have to be honest. If it had been me on that C'mas tree lot, I wouldn't have chosen that pathetic little tree. That clever, kind Charlie Brown!
Since I knew what stamp I had to use I thought I'd use the color challenge as a jumping off point ~ perfect C'mas colors. Turns out I had trouble getting in the blush. At first I colored the ornament in blush but it was just wrong so I ended up getting in the blush pink with the glitter. It's an iridescent white and light pink mix - very pretty. And per my usual SOP, once I'd made the one I thought why not make a set to give her so I did ~ half of them green and half red.
One week 'til C'mas Eve!! OMGoodness! Are you ready?

I LOVE a Charlie Brown Christmas and your Charlie Brown tree is perfect! The glitter is quite pretty. And no, I am no where near being "ready" for Christmas.

This makes me think of Snoopy and Charlie Brown's tree - and the music that cartoon plays in that show!
