Love, love love this technique. This is Beate's challenge, to make a flat card and the only way I could of got it any flatter would be to turn it into a post card.
Take a piece of gloss card, I folded mine but in future I will just mask because the ink did bleed into the fold on the inside, this isn't a problem but I did put an insert in to cover it.
Stamp all your images onto your card with the watermark ink and then cover with clear embossing powder. Tap off the embossing powder and check to make sure there are no unwanted bits of embossing powder (I use a fine soft liner brush to remove the unwanted powder)
Heat the powder till it turns to liquid (or at least looks like it has)
Take a sponge applicator and a felt pad that you have primed with a very few drops of blending solution and your alcohol inks and place drops on the felt. I always do mine in a line with the dominate colour ie; blue at each end and the pop colour ie; citrus only a very small drop second from the end.
I then pounce my applicator over the whole card turning it ninety degrees each time. Let it dry for a couple of seconds then take a soft tissue and a little blending solution and wipe over your images, they will come up white and there you have it.
Wonderful challenge Beate!
Hope you enjoy
Thanks for looking
