What a perfect challenge for today, Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year). We wish for a sweet new year and traditional foods are apples and honey. The "honeycomb" was made with my PaperTrey Hexagon die. The banner is from Simon Says Stamp, and the sentiment is from PaperTrey's Mazel Tov set. The bee was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black on vellum and clear embossed. I cut it out and adhered it with a foam square. The "flight trail" is a stamp from paperTrey's Baby Button Bits.

OMG Harriet....your card is absolutely STunning! I LOVE your circle negative honeycomb with the beautiful bee and your banner, but it was the red and white color combo that really got my attention. TFS
Sounds like this was the perfect challenge to celebrate your New Year. What a great story and a great card.

What a lovely interpretation of the theme. I love your use of the hexagon die and the way you'v e framed it. And the addition of the wonderful embossed bee just finished it perfectly.
Happy New year to you!
