Today it is all about baseball. I have a fond memory of a time my dad, who was a policeman, was working the security at a Denver Bears Baseball game. Me, being a little girl, had to go to the bathroom but before I went, my dad told me that the next player was going to hit a foul ball and that it was going to come straight to him. So when I returned he would have a baseball for me.
I returned with Curt, I might add. I mean really, a little girl going off to the restroom all alone. I donÂ’t think so. Anyway, dad told me that the player actually hit a foul ball and that it came straight at him. He had to run to get away from it for fear that if he had tried to actually catch it he would have broken his hand.
I left the game that day without a ball but with something much better, a fond memory of my dad, me and Curt at the baseball game. Fun time was had by all.
Today Curt still wishes we would have got a game ball. So he has brought a bucket load of baseballs with, of course, his gorgeous mug on them. He will be giving them out on a first come first serve basis after the game. So get in line quickly, you don’t want to miss this one…….”free” stuff from Curt! hehe
Another sketched scene with Curt at the hands of Mutnik. Coloring was done with prisma pencils, gamsol, copic markers, and chalk pastel. Stamped the clouds, thatÂ’s right, stamped the clouds. Put this scene with the doodled edge on gelli print card I made.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful Teapot Tuesday All!......TFL :0)

Well I wondered how Curt would be dressed at this particular teaparty. I actually thought he would be the umpire given his tendency to be "in charge". But coming as the BALL...... well that means he's center stage no matter who wins the game and he's in on every play!! Clever Curt..........

This is hilarious, Cathy. Curt looks fab. What a lovely memory, too.
And while I'd love a baseball with Curt's face on it, I got some fabulous happy mail today - thank you so much! Even more IRL it reminds me of our trip to Barcelona. Happy dances here.
