Hello from Wyoming. This is Bison Bill, and his young son, Buffalo Chip. They were lazin' around the ranch and got to telling stories about the old days, and missing their cousin, Curt, that West Coast wonder! Yes, they were once close, but time and miles have separated them. However, there is a current trend that have these cousins united! Yes, Bison meat is lower in fat and cholesterol, thus leading to the production of bison hybrids! And what are they calling this? Beefalo! You can see why these cousins are teaming up. Mercy....Now, I have nothing against health, but really, the vegetable world has so much to offer. Curt agrees, I am certain! It is bovine madness! Eat your veggies!
Ok, now for a commercial break. Once you have eaten your veggies, wouldn't it be lovely to sit back and enjoy some Buffalo Chips? Yes, they are tasty (and named after Bison Bill's son.) Made with the finest ingredients, and an extra measure of love. Perfect for Curt and his need to stress binge, (I hear he has a case of the Mutnik Munchies, since all the hoo-haw about the Beefalo industry developments hit the news.) This is the tag I made to ship off some snickerdoodles to my friend Curthy, Curt's mom. She “heard” that these mailed well, and this was a test.
Main image is from a Wyoming calendar and framed using a Sizzix jar/die set. The lid is paper pieced and tied off with twine. The sentiments were computer generated.
Thanks for looking, and get the milk! (I think Curt's mom has some...)

Good heavens, I have to put this in my favorites just for the story! What a wonderful imagination you have, and how sweet to actually share Snickerdoodles - I'm a bit hoggish about them, myself!
Fabulous tag!

Actually Buffalo chip cookies are my very favorite cookies, even more than snickerdoodles. They are a chocolate chip cookie with oatmeal and Special K cereal. We usually make them about 3 or 4 inches across, so the edges are crispy and the insides are chewy. Have you had them befor? (They are much better than their name sakes!) But your story as well as the story of when they were received really is the best!
