For this week's CAS challenge: summer fun theme. What's more fun for a kid than a romp through the sprinkler on a hot summer day?
For this week's technique challenge: traditional holiday colors used in a non-traditional way.
Okay. Confession: Monthly, a group of us meet at a nearby craft store for a card swap. This month's theme was summer, and I'd already made the required six cards with the sprinkler girl's swimsuit colored in blue. I was jazzed to see today's CAS theme, and then read the post for the technique challenge. So, I quickly threw together another card with a green swimsuit and card base. Christmas colors are my favorites anyway-- Growing up, with my birthday overshadowed by Christmas, I dreamed of a summer birthday. Well, here it is.

What a fun image you chose! That image is just too cute! I think it's great that your card swap worked right into the challenge. Love your background papers.
