Judy's challenge today was thought provoking and fun. She asked us to make a card with a traditional color, but not a holiday card. My card is done in the red, white and blue. It is a birthday card. I started by using a negative stencil from a sizzix die. Sponged marina mist to make the stencil image. Stamped a star image and cut them out, and placing them over the stencil. Next using the banner greetings stamped and cut out three and placed them on the card. Did some scoring and added a braid to match the colors. tfl

Wowzers! Love the idea of sponging the stars and then adding stamped stars on top of them. Very cool shadowing effect. You just keep coming up with such unique and creative ideas.
