For today's colors I thought this would definitely be a feminine card for sure-boy was I wrong! My son lives in Virginia Beach, so this will be perfect for him. After using the wheel I sponged the edges and some on the sand. Stamped the sand dollar in sand, used a pink marker for the inside and added sparkle. Before I took the photo, I felt it needed a little bit more so I added 4 rhinestones in the sand, kind of like treasures that are found at the beach. I think they are subtle enough for a guy. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, even when it isn't flowing where you thought it would! Glad you let this card speak to you as you made it, because it sure turned out to be a beauty! And I think those jewels were a perfect addition. I agree, sometimes you don't know until you look at a photograph of your card that it needs something more.

Oh how I love this card!!! I live on Cape Cod and just like everything beach/nautical. The color combination is so calm and relaxing and the way you finished the edge looks like the edge of the water/sand.

Wow, this did turn into a fantastic masculine card for your son. I love seaside cards. You have done a brilliant job with this one. I feel I'm right at the beach in the sand. Love the torn edge. Great job Roberta!
