I'm totally in love with this week's color combo (which of course was still out on my desk) so I decided to play along with today's sketch. I'd made a vintage mixed media tag yesterday and was pleased with some of the effects so I did a similar look on my image panel. I glued a piece of a music sheet down and put a light coat of matte white Gesso over it. I stamped the bird and then used a wet brush to smear the color around. I then stamped over that with Versamark and embossed in Early Espresso ep. I masked this and stamped the Medallion bg in Marina Mist. I added some sponging and some spatter as well as using Itty Bitty Bg to add tiny spatter. My Cherry panel is embossed in the M-Bossabilities Reverence ef with Early Espresso ink on the negative side before embossing. I embossed my bg dp and also the Marina strip and sponged the edges of the blue and over the raised part of the dp. I spritzed my Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding with homemade shimmer spray and crinkled it up before making a brad bow with an Antique brad. Last step was to stamp my sentiment in Versamark and emboss with Espresso ep.
