I pulled out a favourite ladybird stamp for today's Teaparty, but then when I read that Marian was a keen knitter, I knew I just had to let the hens out of the coop. I did add a couple of ladybirds .
Quick card, I've been sick the last couple of days.
A2 base, brown Bazzill embossed with a woodgrain ef and sponged with white.
Penny Black hens stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks and markers: tea dye, forest moss, vintage photo, mowed lawn, peacock feathers, walnut stain, pumice stone, mustard seed, picked raspberry, barn door.
Little ladybirds are from Garden Whimsy and were probably a mistake :-(.

So fun! You can't help but smile when you look at these ladies. I love the determined look on the gal knitting the purple stocking! That's how I look when I'm coloring an image I love how you have the ladybugs framing the sentiment.

Aww, Sabrina, you always see the angle that a lot of us miss - what a perfect stamp for Marian's tea party this week - love your coloring and idea, and I am GLAD you brought your ladybugs - they are watching the "girls" frantic knitting!! HUGS!
