Heavily influenced by Beate's challenge, but this is a submission for Edna's 5 Words challenge, since I wasn't particularly happy with what I came up with yesterday. I also used yesterday's sketch, and Toni's challenge today to use an odd number of something - I used 1 butterfly and 3 layers.
A2 base, sponged with Spiced Marmalade.
Background created with wrinkle free distress, using Weathered Wood and Pumice Stone. I inked the grass with Smokey Grey and stamped it off once before stamping on my card. Coneflowers were inked with markers and misted. I don't believe I've ever used the sentiment from Embrace Life before - about time to let it see some ink, and it combined well with the one from Inspired by Nature. The butterfly is from ODBD's Don't Worry, sponged with grey, green and orange, and with gold Stickles on the wing tips. It's layered on black and then on green.
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Embrace Live, ODBD Don't Worry
Paper: white card, black and green for layering
Ink: Versafine Black and Smokey Grey, distress inks for sponging and background - vintage photo, spiced marmalade, peeled paint, old paper, weathered wood, soot black

Gorgeous! Love the combination of stamp sets, and it was especially fun to look at your butterfly and realize that I designed it (well, God did, but I made the stamp...)! I am laughing at myself today, because when I have time to comment in the HYCCT gallery I've only been looking at the lower comments - I have been missing all kinds of gorgeousness!
