Hi All!! One would wonder why I would title this card "Just Squeakin by with Tissue". To make a long story short, I had my inlaws here for the past week and was unable to join in any challenges or create any cards or projects. I was so excited to get started on today's WT382 Tissue challenge. I began soon after they left, however my progress and ability to finish the card was hindered when I opened my craft cabinet to get my ink (in our new house) only to have a mouse staring at me. I hate mice and have the urge to run when I see one. Which is just what I did...I ran to get my pet cat Zoe who chased the mouse through my cupboards and saved the day. I will be a bit more cautious when getting supplies in my craft area from now on!!
Anywho...I made this for today's WT382 challenge. I used the faux silk technique and created a tissue paper flower. The Our Daily Bread Designs Flowering Faith stamp set was used to create my faux silk. The sentiment is from the Our Daily Bread Designs Sharing your Sorrow . The flower was created with the Spellbinders Blossoms Three and Peony dies. I wanted to create this card for this week's CAS177 Navy, Olive, and White challenge as well..so I used Marina Mist, the closet I have to navy at the moment. The card shape is created with the Labels 23 Grand dies.
Thanks for looking!!
